I am apparently special.

I, along with everyone else who lives in my apartment complex, recieved a new phone book yesterday. I know, exciting news, right? All those new friends I could meet… or not. Proably not. Seriously, though, how annoying is it to open your door and find an unwanted and useless pile of paper (I refuse to call it a book, it has done nothing to deserve such a title) squatting in your way. Usually I leave mine there in protest for a few days, refusing to even acknowledge its presence enough to throw it out, but in looking around I saw that all of my neighbors had already taken in or disposed of theirs, so mine went immediately to the dumpster… where I saw no other phonebooks. Had everyone else really wanted theirs? Was I missing out on something? Had ALL of my neighbors really kept their new phone books?
No. A few hours later, I returned home to find a new phone book in front of every other door in the building. For some reason, mine had been delivered in advance. Somehow, some way, for whatever reason, I have apparently qualified myself to recieve a priority advance copy of the phone book. Yay for being special.
